Our Set-Up
The trailer is a 2022 Meaner Bean, which is designed to be an off-road capable trailer. It has an axle-less suspension, 17 inches of clearance, and is 15 feet in length. We use an articulated hitch to tow the trailer with a 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road.
Our Adventures
We seek solitude on our adventures, so we try to get off the beaten path on our trips. Thus, most of our camping sites are informal or "dispersed" sites off of gravel or dirt roads in national forests, with no amenities like bathrooms, electricity, or water. Some of our nights, however, have been spent in formal campgrounds with said amenities, as well as the occasional RV park when the trailer battery needs a charge on a long trip!
When camping, we like to go on day hikes to explore the area, so we will often look for places with ample hiking opportunities. We also enjoy swimming in streams and lakes, so will additionally seek water near our spot.
Our Website
We hope that this website gives you ideas for ways to get outside, escape the daily grind, and find your own special spots within the incredible landscapes that are often just a drive (or hike) away!
